Continue underground to the Serapeum, where the sacred Apis bulls were entombed in massive granite sarcophagi. Visit the Tomb of Mereruka to admire colorful carvings depicting scenes of everyday life from over 4,000 years ago.
Before heading back, stop at a carpet-weaving school, where you can see young Egyptians mastering the ancient craft of hand weaving.
Return to your hotel.

After breakfast, travel to the Giza Plateau to stand before the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enter the Great Pyramid to visit the King’s Chamber, and gaze at the majestic Sphinx and the nearby Valley Temple.
Next, visit a Papyrus Institute, where you’ll watch how ancient Egyptians made the world’s first paper. You can even have your name written in hieroglyphics.
Enjoy lunch, then visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, showcasing treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb.
In the evening, take a flight to Luxor, the world’s greatest open-air museum. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today is all about adventure beyond Luxor!
After breakfast, drive to Abydos, where you’ll explore the Temple of Seti I, famous for its stunningly preserved reliefs and vibrant colors.
Then continue to the Dendera Temple, dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of love and music. It is considered one of the most beautiful and well-preserved temples in Egypt.
Return to Luxor for an overnight stay.

(Optional: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride - Students fly over the Valley of the Kings and the Nile at sunrise — it's magical and a great group photo moment)
After breakfast, transfer to your Nile Cruise ship — your floating hotel for the next few days. Enjoy lunch on board, then head out to explore Karnak Temple, an enormous complex that took over 2,000 years to build. Walk among the towering columns of the Hypostyle Hall — it’s like stepping into another world.
In the evening, take a horse carriage ride along Luxor’s Corniche, pass by the Avenue of the Sphinxes, and enjoy the beautifully lit view of Luxor Temple (from outside). Later, wander through Luxor Market (the Souq), where you’ll find souvenirs, artisanal goods, spices, and more.

After breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank — the Land of the Dead.
Enter the Valley of the Kings, where Egypt’s pharaohs were buried with treasures for their afterlife. Explore several royal tombs carved deep into the rock.
Visit the mighty Ramesseum, the temple of Ramses II, and the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female pharaoh. Stop at the massive Colossi of Memnon before returning to your cruise for lunch.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
In the evening, you will be given mini field notebooks to sketch hieroglyphics, symbols, or carvings you have seen during the tour.

Start your morning with a horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon god of protection.
Return to your cruise and sail to Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the Temple of Sobek, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god. You’ll even see ancient mummified crocodiles in the on-site museum.
Dinner and overnight on board as you sail to Aswan.
In the evening, enjoy a “Pharaoh’s Night” party on board the cruise.

After breakfast, take a motorboat across the Nile to visit the Temple of Philae, built on an island and dedicated to Isis, the goddess of love and magic. This temple was moved stone by stone to save it from flooding after the Aswan Dam was built — an engineering marvel.
Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay on board your cruise in Aswan.
In the evening, enjoy Quiz Night on the cruise: test your knowledge of what you’ve learned each day, with prizes to be won.

After breakfast, check out and disembark, then drive to Aswan Airport.
Fly to Abu Simbel to visit the grand temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, carved into a mountain and relocated piece by piece to avoid being submerged by Lake Nasser. After the visit, continue your flight back to Cairo.
Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
